Unveiled: the striking new MTB fivezero
Breedendam’s MTB yachts blend classic details and retro lines with the latest technologies in a bespoke way. Following the success of the Fourzero Wheelhouse, the yard and designer Guido de Groot have invested considerable time in listening to clients and exploring how a 50-foot version would best meet the wishes of the connoisseurs who understand the ethos behind our brand. The results of this broad research can now be unveiled with the sophisticated and genuinely stunning concepts for the MTB Fivezero.
Among the key client expectations which have driven the development process of this next-generation Breedendam are a tender garage and an optimisation of onboard storage space by adding extra room in places where you’d least expect it. We’ve also poured in all our experience from with previous Breedendam builds – and Guido’s work with other superyacht brands – to ensure everything on the new MTB Fivezero is exceptionally user-friendly. In practice that extends to matters of convenience such as covering the seats and accessing those covers. We have also responded to the desire of Dutch clients to be able to take their bikes onboard!
Another key element of the new MTB fivezero is the ability to convert the sofa in the saloon into an additional double berth. While this solution is mainly intended for those times when it’s too late in the evening for guests to leave rather than structural long-term stays, it does mean six people can now comfortably spend the night. The saloon itself on the main deck has been made larger and the lower deck lounge replaced with an expanded galley. Extended outdoor areas make the most of the additional length for entertainment and relaxation on a yacht that perfectly retains the design proportions which are so essential to the identity of the Breedendam MTB line.
