Sixzero Flybridge close to completion
The first Sixzero Flybridge is already in the water and, as you can see, looks fantastic. We are now working on the finishing touches and sea trials before delivery in early 2024. This yacht showcases both the impressive nature of this latest member of the Breedendam family and the beyond-the-norm determination of her owners to ensure all aspects meets their personal requirements. While every boatbuilder welcomes the chance to work with repeat clients, this 19.60-metre sets the bar even higher for future projects.
In earlier communications we shared a time-lapse video of how the build of the Sixzero Flybridge was progressing and interviewed the artists responsible for her remarkable imitation wood exterior. Since then the stainless-steel details have also been added, another true work of art on what has become a truly beautiful Breedendam.
“The Sixzero Flybridge is already serving as an inspiration to those who have seen the yacht in build and will surely draw in new orders once seen on the water,” says designer Guido de Groot. “We don’t build on spec at Breedendam and there is really nothing like this on the market in the 60-foot segment. She really is a superyacht in all but the official size denotation.”
Being a flybridge model, the Sixzero has more height as well as length. “A boat built for volume like this is inevitably somewhat beefier,” continues Guido. “That said, she remains perfectly in proportion and will be very recognisable as a Breedendam. A higher yacht also means a larger hull and this then translates into more interior volume. On this model the additional space has been used for a two-member crew cabin, making her suitable for the charter market in the Mediterranean.”
This first Sixzero Flybridge also features a fine owner’s suite, a VIP in the foredeck and a guest cabin. Her Volvo IPS system will provide a powerful top speed in excess of 30 knots. Catch her if you can…
