Building a new flagship
The construction of a premium quality motoryacht is a complex task that involves many people working from different disciplines over a period of many months. But to give you a short impression of how things play out in practice, we had a time-lapse camera following the building process of the MTB fourzero Wheelhouse. It gives a great insight into how first-class materials are skilfully brought together to create the collective whole. See for yourself in this special video, which also gives you a glimpse into how the interior of the first MTB fourzero Wheelhouse looks like.
This 13.37 all-aluminium motoryacht includes a wide range of high-tech features. Designed by Guido de Groot and featuring a striking blue colour scheme, the launch model will have many facilities chosen by her owner, including a wide array of diving equipment and a hydraulic swimming ladder and gangway. Don’t be fooled by this boat’s classy classic looks – her twin Volvo IPS600 engines ensure the MTB fourzero Wheelhouse can reach a cool top speed of 35 knots. Fitted with both air conditioning and central heating, the yacht will be ideal for all climates.
