Lifeboats
Breedendam was the first company to start building lifeboats as pleasure craft, beginning with the Breedendam 20 in 1982.
Many of these Lifeboats have since been built and “The Breedendam” became a well-known and stylish presence on the water. Recognised for its superior performance, even during long trips, the Breedendam Lifeboats offer fine seating comfort, a refined finish and top quality materials.
Today, the Dutch Lifeboat is manufactured on a large scale and the use of such boats has become a lifestyle in itself. Various yards adopted Breedendam’s idea and are building Lifeboats in all shapes and sizes – and a wide range of quality levels. None have managed to match the unique look & feel of a Breedendam Lifeboat.
The programme of Lifeboats currently includes the Breedendam 20, the Breedendam 24 and the Breedendam 28. These models are based on the launches that have been built at the yard since the early 1980s.
